Be Kind Today

Be kind today
No matter what may come your way.
A life may change at just one gentle word.
Be kind today.
Don't be so caught up in yourself or be too busy to share a smile.
Someone you meet may remember you a while.
Life is hard enough.
Leave the brusque rudeness to others.
Don't let bad attitudes rub off on you.
Even if some are trying to make you lose your mind,
Be kind.
It isn't for their sake, but for your own.
Be kind today
To others met along the way.
Your actions may just make their day
So let your gracious spirit show.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32, KJV

Starting out small

Did you ever notice how many great things have started from practically nothing? Worldwide fast-food chain McDonald's started with just one hamburger drive-in. Mega-superstore giant Walmart started out as Walton's 5 & 10 cent store. Judaism began with a promise to a man too old to have children, and a wife not much younger. Christianity began in a stable.

This is a very small beginning to a small blog. At least, it's small now. We have one follower, and it's one of us. What the future holds, we don't know. We do know that God blesses things that start out small, if they put their trust in Him. So, as we are still grateful in our hearts with Thanksgiving just a couple of days ago, we're starting out small.

Come grow with us.
